![]() 17 Therefore, if anyone ( S) is in Christ, he is ( T)a new creation ( U)old things have passed away behold, all things have become ( V)new. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, ( R)yet now we know Him thus no longer. 14 For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that ( O)if One died for all, then all died 15 and He died for all, ( P)that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.ġ6 ( Q)Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. 13 For ( N)if we are beside ourselves, it is for God or if we are of sound mind, it is for you. Be Reconciled to Godġ2 For ( L)we do not commend ourselves again to you, but give you opportunity ( M)to boast on our behalf, that you may have an answer for those who boast in appearance and not in heart. ![]() 11 Knowing, therefore, ( K)the terror of the Lord, we persuade men but we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known in your consciences. 10 ( I)For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, ( J)that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. The Judgment Seat of Christĩ Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. 8 We are confident, yes, ( H)well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. 7 For ( G)we walk by faith, not by sight. 5 Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also ( F)has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.Ħ So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. 4 For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, ( E)but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life. 2 For in this ( C)we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven, 3 if indeed, ( D)having been clothed, we shall not be found naked. ![]() We plead on Christ’s behalf, ( AB) “Be reconciled to God.” 21 He made the one who did not know sin ( AC) to be sin for us, ( AD) so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.ĥ For we know that if ( A)our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house ( B)not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. ( X) 19 That is, in Christ, God was reconciling the world ( Y) to himself, ( Z) not counting their trespasses against them, and he has committed the message of reconciliation to us.Ģ0 Therefore, we are ambassadors ( AA) for Christ, since God is making his appeal through us. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation ( U) the old has passed away, and see, ( V) the new has come! ( W) 18 Everything is from God, who has reconciled us to himself through Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation. Even if we have known Christ from a worldly perspective, yet now we no longer know him in this way. The Ministry of Reconciliationġ6 From now on, then, we do not know anyone from a worldly perspective. 15 And he died for all ( R) so that those who live should no longer live for themselves, ( S) but for the one ( T) who died for them and was raised. 14 For the love of Christ compels us, since we have reached this conclusion, that one died for all, ( Q) and therefore all died. 13 For if we are out of our mind, ( O) it is for God if we are in our right mind, ( P) it is for you. 12 We are not commending ourselves to you again, but giving you an opportunity to be proud of us, so that you may have a reply for those who take pride in outward appearance rather than in the heart. What we are is plain to God, and I hope it is also plain to your consciences. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat ( K) of Christ, ( L) so that each may be repaid ( M) for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.ġ1 Therefore, since we know the fear of the Lord, ( N) we try to persuade people. ( I) 9 Therefore, whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to be pleasing ( J) to him. ( H) 8 In fact, we are confident, and we would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. 7 For we walk by faith, ( G) not by sight. 5 Now the one who prepared us for this very purpose is God, who gave us the Spirit as a down payment.Ħ So we are always confident and know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. ( E) 4 Indeed, we groan while we are in this tent, burdened as we are, because we do not want to be unclothed but clothed, so that mortality ( F) may be swallowed up by life. ( C) 2 Indeed, we groan in this tent, desiring ( D) to put on our heavenly dwelling, 3 since, when we are clothed, we will not be found naked. 5 For we know that if our earthly tent we live in ( A) is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal dwelling in the heavens, ( B) not made with hands.
